What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle yet powerful energy healing practice that originated in Japan. The word Reiki combines rei (universal) and ki (life energy). This life energy flows through all living beings, and when it becomes blocked or imbalanced, we may experience stress, fatigue, or disconnection from ourselves. Reiki helps restore balance by channeling universal energy to support your body, mind, and spirit in healing.

My Approach

As a certified Level 3 Reiki practitioner, I have been practicing for over 5 years. Over this time, I’ve witnessed how Reiki supports deep transformation—helping people release stress, clear emotional blockages, and reconnect with their inner light. Each session is personalized and guided by intention, allowing Reiki to flow exactly where it is most needed.

How Does Distance Reiki Work?

Energy is not bound by time or space. Just as you can feel the emotions of a loved one across the phone, Reiki energy can be transmitted across any distance. In a distance session, I connect with you energetically, set the intention for your healing, and allow Reiki to flow where it is most needed. Many clients report feelings of deep relaxation, emotional release, and renewed clarity—even though we are not in the same physical space.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I need to prepare for a session?
It helps to find a quiet, comfortable space where you can sit or lie down without interruptions. You may set an intention for the session, but it isn’t required—Reiki naturally flows where it’s needed.

2. What will I feel during the session?
Experiences vary. Some people feel warmth, tingling, or waves of calm energy; others may notice colors, emotions, or a deep sense of relaxation. Even if you don’t feel much physically, Reiki is still working on subtle levels. Remember, each session is unique, and there is no “right” way to experience it.

3. Can Reiki replace medical treatment?
No. Reiki is a complementary practice and should never replace medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. It works alongside conventional treatment to support holistic well-being. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider for any health concerns.

4. How often should I receive Reiki?
Frequency depends on your goals. Some clients enjoy Reiki as a one-time reset, while others schedule regular sessions to support ongoing healing, stress management, or spiritual growth. Your practitioner can offer guidance based on your intentions, but the choice is always yours.

5. Can distance Reiki be as effective as in-person sessions?
Yes. Reiki energy is not limited by physical proximity. Distance sessions are considered equally effective as in-person sessions and are designed to support your well-being wherever you are.
